What is CleanSlate Storage Solutions?

A premium transformation service for residential garages, basements, attics, and storage spaces. Most projects are completed in a single day. We also offer Moving Assistance and heavy-duty tote rentals.

Are you a cleaning company?

No. We are a transformation service. We take spaces from unusable to intentional. Cleaning happens at the end, but it is not what we sell.

How do I get started?

Take the quick quiz on the homepage or contact us for a consultation. We review your space, discuss your goals, and build a plan.

How soon can you schedule a project?

Lead time varies by season. Most transformations and Moving Assistance jobs book 2 to 4 weeks ahead. Tote rentals can usually be scheduled within a week.

What spaces do you transform?

Garages (single, double, triple), basements, attics, storage units, sheds, and other residential storage spaces.

How long does it take?

Most transformations are completed in a single day. Very large or heavily cluttered spaces may need a two-day project, which we discuss during planning.

Do I need to sort everything before you arrive?

No. That is the QuickSort step of the service. We work through your stuff together and make decisions on the spot. You direct, we handle the heavy lifting.

What storage systems do you install?

Shelving, wall-mounted storage, overhead systems, and custom solutions based on your space and needs. Everything is selected to fit your layout and budget.

What happens to items I no longer want?

We coordinate junk removal, donation pickups, and proper disposal. You never have to make a second trip.

Moving Assistance

Can I buy just one Moving Assistance package?

Yes. Moving Assistance has four packages: Packing, Pack and Load, Unload and Unpack, and Unpack. Each stands alone. Some clients buy just Packing and handle the rest themselves. Others buy just Unpack at the new place. The quote scales to what you actually need.

How is Moving Assistance priced?

Flat quote, not hourly. We do a walkthrough, scope the work, and quote a price. We show up and work until the job is done. No clock-watching.

Can you handle decluttering before the move?

Yes. We call that a QuickSort. Tell us which rooms or closets to sort, and we work through them with you to decide what stays, donates, or gets removed. Then we pack only what made the cut.

How far in advance should I book?

Two to three weeks is comfortable. Peak season (May through September) books up faster, so three to four weeks is safer.

Do you provide packing materials?

Yes. Boxes, paper, tape, and labels are all included. We also offer heavy-duty tote rentals if you want a sturdier, eco-friendly alternative.

Tote Rentals

What size are the totes?

Heavy-duty XL totes with attached lids. Larger than standard moving boxes, stack securely, built for heavy items.

How does delivery and pickup work?

We deliver clean, empty totes to your door on your preferred date. When you are finished, you schedule a pickup and we collect them. Both are included in the rental price.

Can I extend my rental?

Yes. The standard rental is two weeks. Additional weeks are available at the per-week extension rate for your tier.

Are the totes clean between customers?

Every tote is cleaned and inspected between rentals.

Do you work with realtors?

Yes. The Realtor Program lets agents gift tote rentals to clients at closing. Request program details on the Realtor Program page.

Service area & booking

What areas do you serve?

Tote rentals are based in Lancaster County. Deliveries outside Lancaster are custom-quoted with any surcharge agreed before booking. Transformation and Moving Assistance jobs cover Lancaster, Central PA, and Bucks County.

What if I am outside your service area?

Reach out anyway. We review requests case by case and may be able to accommodate you with a custom quote.

How do I pay?

After we confirm scope, we send a secure invoice. Deposits are due at booking and the balance is paid on completion.
